We should always watch ourselves and make sure that we are always doing what we are supposed to be doing. Not only should we be aware of what we do, but also what the people around us do. In the hallways, I hear people running and talking really loud and it distracts me from my work and usually when they pass by the classroom door, I sometimes put my finger up to my mouth and make a “shh”-ing gesture. Sometimes my classmates or my teacher has to close the door because it is really noisy in the hall! When people start hearing noise in the hallways, they normally take that as a sign that they can talk in the classroom as well. But really, we are all supposed to be focusing.
When you step out of the classroom, there are a lot of kids who are running around and bumping into each other, which can be really dangerous. They sometimes bump into me and my classmates. It can lead to people getting hurt, which I don’t think would be good especially during the school day. It would be okay during recess, but not during the school day. To fix this, people should walk and keep their voice at an inside level. After asking a teacher to go out into the hallway to get something like water, they should just get water, nothing else. We should have a security guard or a teacher who can watch the hallway and make sure that the kids are doing what they are supposed to. This could be like how we are monitored during lunch time. It is also very important that someone is always in the office because they can also watch the kids in the hallway to make sure they aren’t screaming very loud.
