Faith and Science Can Co-Exist. Just Watch!

In this time, we rely a lot on scientists and hear from scientists every day. But what about the things scientists don’t believe in?

Many scientists don’t believe in the supernatural or things of faith, but sometimes people need to rely on belief. But what if both these things could come together? Science doesn’t need to fight against faith, and faith should not fight against science.

For example, think about “the placebo effect” when there is no reason for a person to be happier or healthier other than that they believe they will be. Scientists cannot yet explain how it happens. But if you look at it from a different perspective, it would make sense!

Proverb 17:22 says that “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” What this means is that hope can make someone believe that they will get well and sometimes, it works! If people hear bad news, they wouldn’t be as hopeful about what the future has in store for them.

Science doesn’t need to fight against faith, and faith should not fight against science.

The month of December is a month for joy, love, and hope! We can hope for next year and be thankful for the time we had in 2020. We can hope that we will be able to go outside and high-five our friends or give hugs to our family! I hope you all have an amazing Christmas and Happy Holidays!
