What stuff will Trump actually do as president? Well, that is less clear than what he will not do. He has said insane things “he will do” but he can’t. He obviously can’t make Canada the 51st state and he won’t buy Greenland. No one wants that. I would rather the USA be a providence of Canada than Canada be a state of the U.S. Also, Canada has a bigger land mass than the United States. How will we have one state that is bigger than our entire country? Both political leaders of Canada and of Greenland are opposed to Trump’s ideas. Trump said he might get the military involved. Is that really a good use of the military? No.

Greenland’s Prime Minister has said they “do not want to be Americans” and that Greenland “is not for sale.” Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, said that there is “not a snowball’s chance in hell” that Canada will become the 51st state. These countries do not want this, and it will not happen.

Trump claims he is going to lower food prices and make things cheaper. How is making Canada the 51st state or gaining control of Greenland going to do that? How is putting tariffs on goods going to lower prices? It’s not. The odds are that 99 percent of what Trump says he will do will not happen. Trump will not buy or get Canada or Greenland. But he will cause problems with those countries, such as imposing tariffs on goods from those countries, making them more expensive for people in the U.S.
