This is Rafi Conroe from the East Rock Record. Here at East Rock, Eliseo Plascencia, a 5th grade student, insisted that I like jazz best and that I don’t really like pop artists.
It is true that I like jazz artists like Kenny G and Enya. But when it comes to pop, I like artists like Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and Imagine Dragons!
Another 5th grade student, Haven Pickett, said that he likes pop better, including Imagine Dragons!
I like jazz because it’s nice and soft, but some songs are really long, like, for example, “Songbird” by Kenny G. I like pop because the songs are short and soothing. Some pop artists are just annoying, like Taylor Swift because she uses too much autotune. I listen to jazz when I am eating, and I listen to pop when I am in the car.
